Text Message BioHello, Im Gillian, Im 22 on Thursday - woooooooo!!! and Im living in Dirty East Kilbride with the parentals while Im studying BA Media Theory and Production at University of Paisley. Just started 3rd year which is scary cause I've only got one more year of the student lifestyle before I have to actually grow up and become a proper.... adult. Scary.
So, basically I like to talk a lot of shit about pretty much anything and everything thats on my mind. And yeah, I know I dont have any actual proper friends on this journal, cause this is my "for strangers eyes only" journal where I can bitch and moan or admit weird things that my friends need never find out. Like the fact that I have a very little, tiny, almost non-existent thing for Rupert Grint who plays Ron in the Harry Potter movies. Sick, I know. But he's so damn cute.
Which then leads on to my unhealthy but thouroughly enjoyable obsession with the Harry Potter books. Yeah, I know they're not exactly challenging or what have you, but they're ruddy fabulous and I can lose myself in the stories in a heartbeat, even though I've read all six books about 10 times each.
Im a big, big reader. I hate it when Im not in the middle of a least one book and can easily read your average 400 page novel in about 20 hours. Some people cant tear themselves away from the TV or whatever, Im the same with books, I just cant put them down once I've started. Favourites are Terry Pratchett, Jeffrey Deaver, Ben Elton (super-genius) and Jasper Fford. And the main man Christopher Brookmyer. I could seriously read his books to death.
Apart from being a complete bookworm, I LOVE Johnny Depp (see, Im not just a cradle-snatching pervert - older guys do it for me too!) And not just cause he's hot, although that's definitely a bonus. So while Im on the subject of hotness, good lord, Denzel Washington, James McAvoy, Jack White, Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi and for some reason James Spader as Alan Shore in Boston Legal does it for me. HOTNESS!!!
